pic of Crestview County Seat

Crestview was named for its location on the peak of a woodland range between the Yellow and Shoal rivers which provide the east and west sides of this thriving town. Crestview is conveniently located at the junction of three highways – US 90, State Road 85, and Interstate Highway 10, leading it to be designated as the “Hub City” of Northwest Florida. Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, and the Army’s 7th Special Forces are all located nearby, making this a popular area for military personnel to choose to live. One of the largest and oldest towns in Okaloosa County, Crestview contains the County Seat, a quaint downtown area, and a wide variety of housing options. Thirty minutes from the beach and the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport make it convenient – a booming economy, top-rated schools, and strong patriotism make this a lovely community to call home.
