Jennifer Nelson fell in love with the amazing Emerald Coast Beaches more than 20 years ago as a kid vacationing to the area with her family. A childhood promise was made to one day to permanently reside in the panhandle. After spending a decade as an Active Duty Military Spouse traveling all over the United States, the day came when a final duty assignment was made to be at Hurlburt Field. Jennifer specializes in VA home loans and investor properties. She was recognized as the 2018 KW Rookie of the Year for outpacing her peers in their first year of active real estate. Additionally, she was recognized as the 2018 Humanitarian of the year for her local and national advocacy for Wounded Veterans and their Caregivers. In 2019, she championed legislation in Florida with 100% bipartisan support to have the state of Florida recognized as an official Hidden Heroes state with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. In 2019, while actively selling real estate she completed and published her book Divine Soldier, her personal memoir and recount of her struggles dealing with her husbands untimely catastrophic injury while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Mrs. Nelson continually works with her clients to create WIN/WIN contracts by creating unique strategies to benefit both sides of the deal. Jennifer has built her business by being 100% transparent and honest with her clients and fellow realtors. In 2020, she is currently working on her Brokers License and IAHSP Certification, in order to continue to be the best advocate for her clients that she can be. Mrs. Nelson has a Bachelors Degree in Total Quality Management and boasts a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Mrs. Nelson is also an ambassador for Building Homes for Heroes, an organization that build mortgage free homes for wounded veterans and The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, which crafts and champions legislation on capital hill for active, retired, and injured veterans and their families.
