Destin, FL (July 16, 2017)…By all sales and listings measurements, the month of June was a historical one for the Keller Williams Emerald Coast Realty (KWEC) franchise in Northwest Florida with over 300 agents in seven offices serving five communities in Ft. Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, 30-A, and Navarre.
Breaking all records, KWEC did more business in this past month of June 2017 than in the entire year of 2010. This significant feat for just one month represented $133 million in closed sales of 349 units compared to $123.5 million in total sales for 2010 KWEC year.
With an average sales price of $381,257 for June, the list of “most ever” in any month goes on to include 359 contracts written representing $131.1 million; 147 listings sold representing $72.9 million; and closed gross commission income of $3.1 million. This year, more KWEC agents have capped to achieve a 100% commission status than in the 17-year history of this franchise. KWEC is also maintaining their #1 position in this KW region that spans from Lafayette, Louisiana to Panama City Beach, Florida. The strength of these numbers bodes well for the region’s real estate market strength and the economy.
Jeff Adamson, managing broker for all the KWEC offices further commented, “We are so proud of the accomplishments of our team and thank each and every one of our agents for their noteworthy successes. I attribute much of our success to the KW learning-based culture, supported by constant training and coaching for our agents, that makes KW the real estate company of choice for our sellers, buyers and agents. Our culture is our glue.”
